Punch Art


I have very few punches - but overall I am happy with my tag :)
The large flowers were punched, painted and stamped, the small punnches just painted. The tag itself again is painted and there is black ribbon tied to the top but it is hard to see against the background.

Paris images are mock postage stamps I found on the net which I then backed with purple bazzill, the Paris post stamp is a Inkadinkadoo stamps I have. The backgound I made myself and it has a lot more detail in real life.

I decided to do the letter be mainly because my name starts with that letter :) I used Brown and Blue papers and paint. I also added the flowers and brad, the Monogram itself is sprinkled with Tim Holtz Embossing Powder in Broken China although the scan looks a green colour.

Okay so last week I didn't have time to make a tag for the "Tag You're It Challenge" and I saw the theme at Dans ma Maison il'ya was metal so I thought I would incorporate the two...

The heart is Grungeboard which has been painted, embossed and Inked. The house is painted in Terracotta highlighted in Copper and brown paint and sprinkled with embossing powder....

The tags background is painted with pink paint, then inked in three other colours and finally stamped with swirls.

The black background is actually painted with Jo Sonja's gold dust, but the scan didn't pick it up very well... Also in the bottom right hand corner is a large gold heart shaped brad.
